Often called the “Land of Plenty,” the Comox Valley is an agricultural and culinary hotspot combining more than 445 farms.
Island Gourmet Trails offers exciting, delicious day tours within the Comox Valley. This culinary adventure is planned to cover different trails throughout the Valley.
The tour will bring you to meet few of the artisan food producers, wine makers or brew masters of the Comox valley and see them in action. The tour will include an artisan pasta studio, a brewery, a seafood processing plant, a new fruit winery, a chocolatier and traditional bakery. A gourmet buffet picnic showcasing some of the best food produced in the region will be provided. This culinary tour is designed to help you experience the Valley in all its splendour and its flavour!
Flying Canoe West Coast Pub, located at The Westerly Hotel & Convention Centre, brings the West Coast indoors with the use of timbers, stone and a spectacular dance floor made from reclaimed Stanley Park wood. The Flying Canoe features classic pub fare with the addition of authentic gas fired pizzas made right in-front of your eyes. Entertainment on weekends includes live and local musicians in a casual fun atmosphere.
